The other day I had to run some errands in the US of A, and I checked my awesome car show calendar and realized that there was a car show going on in the mighty town of Morrisburg on the way back to Ottawa. Cool!!!
I was a bit late, but there was still some cool rides. I met up with Opponaut Zippy down there along the banks of the mighty St. Lawrence River across from upstate-most New York.

1970 Chevrolet Impala. I love big boats and you can’t deny!!
1960 Buick Electra. Dayyyuuummm. This guy took over 5 years and $70K to restore.
1968 Plymouth Satellite. Loving dat green.
I love 3rd gen camaro’s. I love their styling it is so great. Across the river is the mighty state of New York. Upstate-most New York is mostly bush.
Chrysler Cordoba. Not sure of year, maybe 72 or thereabouts. For an ugly car it sure was looking good!!!
I think this was a Desoto. I am not sure though and my pic wasn’t so grand.
Oldsmobile 88. I think this guy is an early 70’s model. That or late 60’s like 68.
Originally the owner of the Hellcat decided his car wasn’t good enough for the show. Noone is quite sure what. First Hell Cat I’ve seen. DAT BURBLE OMG!!! It was an auto.
Mystery hot rod is a mystery.
GM vs Ford.
Oh yes. I have a soft spot for new edge mustangs because I learned to drive stick on one. Not on a saleen though, it was just a normal 04 GT.
Lastly there was this big boy. I am not sure what he is. I want to say Chrysler Newport, but I thought that it said Oldsmobile on it. Help me out Oppo.
At the end of the show they drew the 50/50 draw. I won $CAD 126.50 I never win anything. That was a great cap to the day!!!

I think the brown boat is a Plymouth Satellite. It’s definitely not an Oldsmobile.

Great pics! Since the last car has “Newport” on the fender I’d guess that it is a Newport ;).

That would make some sense. Someone else pointed out it said “newport” on the fender so it could also be a chrysler.

If it said Newport, it’s definitely a Chrysler. They’re basically the same car, but the grill reminded me of a Plymouth Cuda grill, so I guessed Plymouth :)

I think that mystery hot rod might be a ‘39 Dodge or Plymouth.

The air cleaner also has a “440” sticker on it so I think it’s safe to assume a MOPAR of some stripe, though I’m no expert on full sized MOPARs so, other than the fender emblem, I couldn’t really say which kind.

It’s an X and Y chromosome. It dates back to my original Gawker Media name which was token_y_chromsome. That was because I grew up with 3 sisters and now live in a house with two women.

Indeed. A lot of us where invading the line to get in to the US was like 15 minutes long, which is long for the crossing at mighty Ogdensburg.
Glad you enjoyed my photos, it was a lot of fun.
I also dragged back two gallons of unsweet tea.

That’s a very nice corner of the state. I’m further SW kinda across the lake from Kingston, ON, but I’m up there quite a bit in the summer.

Yeah I was checking out where you’re at the other day. I thought about trying to meet up, but you were kinda far from me and I wanted to make this show... Maybe some other time. I have never been east on 37 past Ogdensburg. Not long after that the border moves away from the river.

I asked the girl from the area whom had the same last name as the owner. She doesn’t know the owner so I guess they are not related and no further info is forthcoming. In absensce of other information we shall declare your guess to be correct.
